Purpose Statement
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love
thy neighbor as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and
the prophets.”
Matthew 22:37-40 “.
. . and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in

other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables . . . rather than godly edifying
which is in faith: so do.
Now the end of the commandment is charity out of

“For this cause left I thee in A great opportunity awaits you on
Wednesday night of this week.
We have selected this night to try to pull
together a purpose statement for As Christians, we are to be “mini-Christs”,
and therefore have the same purpose as Jesus did here on Earth.
We know that God intended to bring his message
to all the world, through his people.
God’s Word is to be spread among all the world,
and Jesus made the statement above from Matthew concerning his ‘Bible’ (the
Old Testament).
Is this the purpose of RBC? We also have the Great Commission by Jesus, to go and
make disciples. We are left on Earth as God’s
church to do his work.
Paul the great church planter/missionary wrote
letters to many of these churches he started, and admonished their leaders
to do certain things (some shown above.) What do you believe should be the
