Take It With You
"Let
this be a sign among you, so that

When we go on trips, everyone likes to pickup a
souvenir to remember the trip.

trying to tell a friend, you can’t remember why?
We remember the good feelings we had, but have
nothing left to hold on to, except feelings which quickly fade away.
I believe God knew we would be this way which
is why He commanded the Israelites to build alters (like in Joshua above)
and to study his word.
A good illustration (thanks Bro. Dwayne) of taking
something with you is found in 2 Kings Chapter 5, “the healing of Naaman.”
As you will remember, Naaman needed to be
healed of leprosy and would have done anything to be healed.
